To start to differentiate the other Chrysopinae species, you can look at the colour of the Sc vein (see image below), if it is black you can separate Chrysopa dorsalis (click here).
If the Sc is green (see image below), then you need to look at the second antennal segment.
The second antennal segment is either black or green (see below image), these colour differences can help you to further divide the species (black: click here, green: click here).
